Artistic Staff of the HOAMC

Deanne Zogleman
Artistic Director/Conductor/Choreographer

Deanne is no stranger to choral music.  She is currently in her seventh year as Director of Music at Newman University where her select group, the NU Troubadours, have performed at Carnegie Hall three times in the past four years.  In her two years of teaching, she has gained recognition as a music educator and professional choreographer throughout the Midwest.  Each year, Deanne serves as a clinician; adjudicator; and director for music and drama festivals, various workshops, and show choir competitions all over the United States.  An award winning choreographer, Deanne choreographs for area colleges, several high school show choirs in the Midwest, and professional and high school theater productions in the area.  In her "spare" time, Deanne follows her passion as an award winning actress in the Wichita area and her greatest passion in the role of mother to Dalton and Sara Rose and wife to Jeff.



Thomas Grubb
Accompanist

Tom has been an integral part of Wichita's performing arts scene for over 35 years.  As an accompanist, he has worked with the Wichita Choral Society, Wichita Symphony Chorus, Wichita Chamber Chorale, Opera Kansas, and Music Theatre of Wichita.  As a chamber musician, he has appeared often with Chamber Music at the Barn as well as Plymouth's Chamber Series.  At WSU, Tom has worked with the Opera Theatre since 1976, and has served as instructor-lecturer for choral/vocal literature and opera/music theater courses.  His rich and varied performing career includes hundreds of concerts and recitals with students, faculty, and guest artists.  Tom enjoys his collaboration with the HOAMC artistic staff and chorus.





Carole Pracht
Accompanist

Carole Pracht is instructor of keyboard studies and choral studies assistant at Newman University. She is passionate about teaching piano and organ for performance success, personal expression, and creative and personal development.  Dedicated to excellence in church music, she has served as organist at St. Mary's Cathedral in Wichita for more than 35 years.  She is a frequent area performer, teacher, adjudicator, church music consultant and fan of music theater--"Music is Life!"
